Mark Your Calendars: SFIFF, April 22nd

April 13, 2010

April 22nd is Earth Day, first and foremost. But it also happens to be the beginning of the San Francisco International Film Festival, which runs through May 6th.

If you were a big fan of a certain spoon being too big, come out and show your support as its creator receives the Golden Gate Persistence of Vision Award at An Evening with Don Hertzfeldt: Life, Death, and Very Large Utenstils.

Or, if you are a fan of The Magnetic Fields, perhaps you’ll be interested in experiencing the original score created by vocalist Stephin Merritt to accompany a showing of the classic film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Right?!

Still nothin? Maybe names like Robert Duvall, Roger Ebert, or even Joan Rivers get you going…. find out for yourself by checking out all the events here.
