Something about San Francisco makes Halloween revelry more passionate. More lively. More authentic. Sure, they may have shut down the Castro but there is no shortage of Halloween flavored events this weekend in San Francisco.

Due to the glut of events in the Bay Area this weekend, I had a lot of trouble choosing just one. So I decided not to.

Friday
Regina Spektor – Fox Theater – $37.50/all ages/9pm
The Faint, Basement Jaxx, Crystal Method, Steve Aoki – Cow Palace – $40/16+/6:30p

Saturday
Loquat, Lovelikefire – Bottom of the Hill – $14/21+/9pm
Built to Spill, Jonathan Segel, Disco Doom – Fillmore – $25/all ages/9pm

Wallpaper. – Mezzanine – $25/21+/8pm
Sunday
Dirty Projectors, Little Wings – Bimbos – $18/18+/8pm

Happy Halloween!
