Happy Catchy Friday Music: Nortec Collective – Bostich and Fussible

When you think of dance-worthy music imports, you probably think of Europe.  France has Justice and Daft Punk, Belgium has Soulwax and England has Hot Chip and that whole grime scene going on. You generally don’t think Mexico. Tijuana-based Nortec Collective will have you reconsidering that whole train of thought. They’ll also have you reconsidering Tijuana, actually.

Anywhoo, two fifths of the Collective (Bostich and Fussible) will be gracing SF with their presence once again – they made a showing at Septembers Treasure Island Festival– this evening. So if you have a fondness for electronic music, a free evening and a thing for mustaches, check them out at the Independent tonight!
