Maris invited me to contribute to her blog, so I figured I would write about one of my favorite places ever:  Miette (means crumb in French; how adorable) Patisserie & Confiserie.  It is located in the Ferry Building Marketplace along the Embarcadero in San Francisco.  If any of you have been there, I’m sure you are well aware of the awesomeness that is the Ferry Building Marketplace.  As well as Miette, there are such delicious places as the Cow Girl Creamery, Lulu Petite, Imperial Tea Court, The Gardner, Slanted Door, ect.  I literally can go on an on and on. It’s so amazing.  And of course on Saturday mornings, there is the world-famous Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.  Everything you would ever want to eat is there.  Plus it’s all locally grown:) Definitely get there early because it gets packed.

I discovered Miette a few years back and have been returning ever since.  My favorites are their buttermilk Panna Cotta topped with diced strawberrys (which I had for breakfast this morning!), Lime Meringue Tart, Princess Cake, Macaroons, Gingerbread Cupcakes…
So good!!!
Visit their website here to view their full menu and to see a gallery of their desserts.
