Romance isn’t Dead…

For you couples who have not been either here or its sister theater, the Parkway, what the hell is wrong with you?!

Support an awesome local establishment via its 2-for-1 Wednesdays, weekly Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight performances, or its new Cheap Date Package. We opted for the last option this past Sunday, and it’s a pretty sweet deal. Considering that 2 admission tickets would be about $15 dollars and we would end up getting beer and food either way, our frugal little minds did the math and figured it was worth it.

The pizza was good, the couches and recliners were comfy, and the movie was hysterical (a pleasant surprise). If you haven’t already seen ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall‘ then I suggest you go see it right now. I was cynical due to the flood of ambiguous marketing ploys all over town, but I gotta say that whoever is behind this movie really knows what they are doing. Cheap or not, overall it was a great date night…
